You may think that there isn’t much to do in Tenerife when you first arrive, but if you know where to go then there is lots to do.  If you're interested in dance and performing arts then there is a range of different dance schools and English speaking stage schools.  There are also a range of gymnastics, swimming, beach sports and many more clubs for different tastes.  You can find out lots of information on local clubs and things to do in the newspapers, internet and radio.  Below are some references to some dance and performing schools.

Vamos a bailar – English speaking dance and musical theater school.

(This school offers exams in all classes you take and also trains the cheerleading team for the Tenerife football club C.D Tenerife and the dance team for all the boxing tournaments.)

Rhitmania – Dance school (This dance school is located in the busy area of Los Cristianos which is easy to get to by car or bus.)

Estrellas theater academy – Performing arts school (this offers exams and great training if you want to become a west end star or to take the stage)
