Watersports and Beaches
Tenerife is full of
different types of beaches; volcanic beaches, imported sand beaches, black sand beaches and pebbled
beaches.
The beaches in Tenerife are free and there is no fee to go on them,
except there is a 2 euro fee for sitting on a sunbed. Most beaches in Tenerife have some form of amusement on them such as; blow
up obstacles in the sea, pedalos, speed boats, banana boats, surfboards and
canoes.
Water sport is popular in Tenerife and there are loads of scuba diving centers. The main water sports vary from; swimming to jet skiing. If you want to
hire a jet ski or a speed boat, the best place to go is the sea front and look out
for advertisements for centers. The prices are fair and won't cost you any more
in Tenerife to what it will cost you anywhere
else in the world.
Tenerife is one of the
best places for water sports because the weather is great in the Summer and
the water is cool. Even if you have to come out with your family, you can go and
do a sport whilst your family sit on the beach or a nearby cafe.
If you're coming to Tenerife then you will have to go to one of the beaches and you’ll have to try
out a water sport.
