Transport

There are many ways of transport in Tenerife and it is also alot less expensive than back in the U.K. Here is a list of the ways of transport:

RENT A CAR:

There are many places all over Tenerife where you could rent a car. You can also rent a car in the airport.  Obviously the prices will vary according to the quality of the car but the average price would be about 120€ per week.

BUS:

Buses are probably the most common way of transport in Tenerife.  You can find bus stops in nearly every town and it is a very cheap way of travelling. You can also buy bono cards which cost €12 to save you from needing to carry change with you every time you want to go on the bus.

TAXIS

Taxis are a more expensive way of travelling yet still very popular around the South of Tenerife. It also helps to speak Spanish in the taxi as you can get it cheaper as they will realise you are a resident.

MOPED LICENCE

In Tenerife, the legal age to get a moped licence is 16.  First of all you need to go for a medical to check your eye sight and stuff like that to show you are safe on the roads, then you need to get a provisional.  You can also send of to the UK to get your licence whichs costs €50.
