Schools
If Tenerife is
becoming your new home, then looking into the education system will be an
important factor. There are two types of schooling available, either private
(all British schools are private) which require payment in advance or state
schools where no fees, or very low fees, are required.
If you are over the age of 10, and don't speak any Spanish,
then I would recommend going to a British school. Under tens tend to be okay in a Spanish state school, as they pick up the language very easily.
Requirements for State Schools:
- NIE / Residencia
- Birth Certificate
- School Reports
- Medical Vaccination/Card
- Passport/s
- Photographs each child (Not Digital)
- A FULL Birth Certificate is required.
These are some private schools and contact details:
